Can you teach a manoeuvre on ADI Part 3?
Not for the whole lesson. You can include a short recap of a manoeuvre you've taught before.
Why the rule exists
The pupil needs to drive for about 40 minutes, and the examiner needs to see you manage risk and teach on the road. A whole lesson on one manoeuvre leaves little of that to assess.
Using a recap well
If you include one, say clearly before each attempt whether the pupil is doing it alone or you're talking them through. That's evidence for the risk-sharing competency.
